Sunflower Oil
Sunflower Oil Nutritional Value
Sunflower
oil
has many different types of unsaturated fatty acids. It's the composition of
these unsaturated fatty acids in sunflower oil that makes sunflower oil one of
the healthiest oils and fats for the body, especially for people at risk for
cardiovascular disease. In some processed sunflower oils, the percentage of
unsaturated fatty acids, especially unsaturated fatty acids, is even higher
than that of olive oil. Sunflower oil is also often processed into biodiesel as
the cost of producing sunflower oil is cheaper than soybean oil and olive oil.
Sunflower
seed oil can be considered to be one of the healthiest ingredients for cooking.
It contains both polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. Sunflower
kernels indeed are excellent sources of Vitamin B-complex like folic acid,
niacin, pyridoxine, and minerals. Daily consumption of this oil in recommended
limits can be very beneficial for the overall maintenance of health.
